[Latex2rtf-users] an error trying to make

I'm on OSX. I am getting the following error:

gailsmacbook:latex2rtf-2.3.10 gailr$ make
make: *** No rule to make target `test/Makefile', needed by `checkdir'.
Stop.

What does this mean?
